Minecraft confirms The Sift, its first new Dimension since 2012

Minecraft is getting its first new dimension in more than 14 years. At Minecraft Live 2026, Mojang confirmed The Sift will arrive on Java and Bedrock Edition in 2027. The Sift joins the Overworld, the Nether, and the End as the game’s fourth official dimension, bringing a whole new world to explore in Minecraft.
