Marvel’s Wolverine adds Scent Trails and Audio toggles after massive backlash

Insomniac Games has released a new Marvel’s Wolverine update on Sept. 25 that finally lets you turn off several Scent Trails and other sensory indicators.

The update added separate on and off toggles for optional sensory clues: Whisky Bottle Scent Trails, Material Crate Audio Clues, and Nightmare Door Roots. These indicators help players find optional activities and collectibles. Whisky Bottle trails guide Logan toward hidden bottles, audio clues point players toward Material Crates, and the purple roots mark nearby Nightmare Doors.
