League Classic Akali guide: Best build, runes, masteries, and combos

Akali in League Classic plays very differently from the modern version. Her skill floor and ceiling are lower, and she’s quite a bit weaker when piloted perfectly, but within the context of old League, she’s somehow even more oppressive than her current kit.

Mark of the Assassin is a targeted Q that needs a basic attack to proc it, Twilight Shroud gives her invisibility and extra resistances, and Shadow Dance stores up to three targeted dashes. She is considerably weaker before level six, but once Shadow Dance and Hextech Gunblade are available, she can stick to targets and repeatedly trigger Q for most of her damage.
