78-year-old Fortnite granny makes Guinness World Records history

Most people might not expect a 78-year-old to be spending hours dropping into Fortnite, but Cath Bowie has turned her love for Epic Games’ battle royale into a Guinness World Records title.

Better known as grumpygran1948 on Twitch, the Scotland-based streamer is officially the oldest female Fortnite streamer on Twitch. Bowie celebrated her 78th birthday on Sept.1, marking another milestone in a Fortnite journey that began almost nine years ago.
