Rockstar Games has shared details about the various editions of Grand Theft Auto 6, ahead of pre-orders going live, and an array of single-player stores are locked behind a price wall.
Launching November 19, GTA 6 is arguably the most anticipated game of all time, with two release-date delays raising excitement levels, and with pre-orders set to go live, that date is now fully locked in.
It’s now been revealed that two versions of GTA 6 will be available, a base version and an Ultimate Edition, and the latter provides access to five stores.
5 GTA 6 Stores Are Exclusive to Ultimate Edition

Detailing the content in the Ultimate Edition, Rockstar revealed that five stores in single-player are locked exclusively for owners of the higher-tier edition, which comes with a $100 price-tag, but there’s no mention of the availability in GTA Online.
The five Ultimate Edition-exclusive stores in GTA 6 single player vary from vehicle modification to hairdressers and tattooists, offering a range of unique styles. The full list is below:
- Rideout Customs (Mod Shop): Transform vanilla vehicles into magnificent works of art with detailed interiors, exquisite rims, and donk stylings.
- Sara’s Unisex Salon (Hair Salon): Get signature salon styles for both Jason and Lucia, including facial hair for Jason and makeup and nails for Lucia.
- Stock 305 (Clothing Store): Style various unique and exclusive looks for Jason and Lucia at Stockyard’s premier destination for elevated streetwear.
- Electric Fang Tattoo (Tattoo Shop): Stockyard’s most iconic ink bar, with over 50 signature tattoos for both Jason and Lucia- all designed by the artist collective FAILE.
- One-Eyed Willie’s (Mod Shop): This mod shop in Lake Leonida specialises in off-road modifications and hand-painted automotive artistry.
It seems Rockstar is going all-out with customisation in GTA 6, significantly increasing the options available to players, but locking these stores behind the Ultimate Edition will raise eyebrows, particularly as there is no mention of GTA Online.
If it were to apply to Online, it would make more sense, allowing players to flex on their rivals and show off their creations, but in single-player, you’ll only be flexing to the random pedestrians in the environment.
With an additional $20 on the price tag compared to the standard edition, it remains to be seen whether the exclusive shops and other content are enough to persuade gamers to splash out.
