This follows a series of alleged GTA 6 gameplay leaks from the entity known as CYBERLEEK. Rockstar has not yet commented directly on the situation.

Scott Van Vliet’s comments originated from Twitter. Although GTA 6 was not explicitly mentioned, the support for Rockstar was evident.

“We are working closely with Take-Two and Rockstar Games to support efforts to protect creative works and intellectual property,” said Van Vliet.

Recently, a report noted that Rockstar has not yet identified the leaker. However, its marketing plans remain unchanged. Of course, all staff at the studio are treating the situation with urgency.

Next week, Grand Theft Auto 6 will receive a major extended preview on Netflix. The plans for this showcase remain unchanged. Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, previously discussed their partnership with Netflix. He said that once people see the revealed content, they will feel more positive about the decision to give Netflix a limited exclusivity window.

Recently, Van Vliet was tasked with addressing a major XBOX outage in July. You can see the most recent comments on that situation here.

Insider Gaming will continue to monitor all things related to Grand Theft Auto 6 and report them ASAP. How do you feel about this statement from the Chief Technology Officer at XBOX? Sound off about this story and all others in our official Discord server.
