BLAST Slam 8 is the second tier-one Dota 2 tournament of the 2026-2027 season, pitting 16 of the world’s best teams headlined by reigning The International champions Team Spirit.

Team Spirit return with a revamped roster after star offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov and coach Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov decided to take a break. They’ll face strong contenders such as PARIVISION, Team Liquid, and BetBoom Team. PGL Wallachia Season 9 winners Team Yandex (also the defending BLAST Slam champs), runners-up NAVI, and top four finishers LGD Gaming and Xtreme Gaming look to build on their strong form.
