XBOX Game Pass August Wave 1 Titles Revealed

It is finally that time of the month when we get to see the latest additions to XBOX Game Pass, and August has some interesting additions.

XBOX Game Pass is one of the biggest gaming subscriptions out there due to the varied benefits it provides. The service not only caters to consoles, but PCs as well; players receive two waves of games each month, there are plenty of day-one releases, and much more. The latest wave of games starts rolling out from August 6; today, players can play the final games from July Wave 2: Heretic + Hexen and Beast of Reincarnation.

XBOX Game Pass August Wave 1 Features 10 Additions

The blog post revealed that players will receive 10 new additions through XBOX Game Pass in August, including 2 game previews and 8 games. The standout titles for this month would be PowerWash Simulator 2 and Cricket 26. Moreover, players will also be able to participate in the open beta for Gears of War: E-Day from August 6. Check out the new list of games, with their dates and subscription tiers below:

• Bounty Star (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC) – August 11: Now with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass 
• Date Everything! (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – August 11: Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass
• Grounded 2 (Game Preview) (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – August 11: Now with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Ball x Pit (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – August 12: Now with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass 
• Cricket 26 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – August 13: Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass
• Mio: Memories in Orbit (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – August 13: Now with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
• Sandustry  (Game Preview) (PC) – August 13: Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
• Egging On (Cloud XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – August 18: Now with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass

Games Leaving Game Pass in August

As always, whenever new games are added to Game Pass, some titles are removed from the library as well. However, this time around only 4 games will be removed on August 15, check out the list below:

• Menace (Game Preview) (PC)
• Atlas Fallen (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Aliens: Firesteam Elite (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Firewatch (Cloud, Console, and PC)
