Wolverine’s controversial “fart gas” scent trail nerfed by devs after backlash

Insomniac Games has reduced the intensity of Logan’s blue Scent Trail. The feature was one of the most mocked features in Marvel’s Wolverine after players pushed back against its presentation that appears unusual.

The v1.001.005 update went live on Sept. 19, and the hotfix makes Scent Trails and Audio Sense indicators less visible. These effects help Logan track smells and locate objectives. However, players quickly gave the glowing blue trails an unflattering nickname of “fart gas.”
