Where To Find Manuals Fast in The Blood of Dawnwalker

When you start playing The Blood of Dawnwalker, you might feel a little overwhelmed when you realize how many skills there are to learn and how little time you have to unlock them all. Worse still, you might feel even more suffocated when you realize that almost every skill requires more than one physical ‘manual’ to help you level up through multiple tiers.

That means you’re going to spend your entire playthrough searching for them, right? Well, not really. Below, I’ve explained how manuals and skills work in The Blood of Dawnwalker, just to put your mind at ease.

How to Level Up Fast in The Blood of Dawnwalker

If you want to level up fast, you’ll simply want to do as much as you can in the open world. I know that might sound ridiculous and super obvious, but it’s true. Engage in every fight, explore every side location, and complete as many side quests as your time-bound state allows.

But be aware that levelling up doesn’t grant you the skills you need to get stronger – merely the points to unlock those skills.

In The Blood of Dawnwalker, every skill path, and the steps on those skill paths, can be opened up relatively easily. You get the first little bubble for free, but all successive skills are tougher to acquire.

And when you look at your ‘Vampirism’ path, you’ll notice that you need to encourage a little more carnage and sup some more blood to get up those corruption levels. Swordsmanship and Witchcraft skills just require manuals.

Wait, manuals? You mean I need a skill book for every damn ability in this game?

That’s right – but it’s not as tricky as it sounds.

Manuals Are Everywhere

I don’t mean that in an exaggerated sense – manuals to level up your skills in The Blood of Dawnwalker are truly everywhere. You’ll pick them up from random fights, be awarded them for finishing certain quests, and you’ll find others in loot spots around the open world.

But most of your manuals will come from purchasing them in stores and from vendors around Vale Sangora.

Be warned: they cost a pretty penny.

The higher-tier manuals might set you back thousands of Denarius, but it’s worth the investment when you’re aiming for a particular ability. As you dig through the world, you’ll quickly find yourself amassing scores of books, but you’ll need to actually read them in the inventory screen to have them count.

Also, be aware of the jump scares that randomly pop up when you read manuals, for some reason.
