Marvel Rivals continues to roll out new content, and Season 9 is shaping up to be the biggest one yet. To mark the occasion, the servers are being shut down on July 10, as updates roll out across the board.
It’s going to be a big one, with the Team-Up overhaul bound to take centre stage for the occasion. Pretty much every character has something new to learn, so everyone is bound to be queuing up to learn the game once again and find the new metas.
If you’re desperate to get back into Marvel Rivals, here’s when the servers are down and when you can expect them to return.
When Will Marvel Rivals Servers Be Back Up?

Marvel Rivals servers are shutting down on July 10 at 2 AM PT, and they’re expected to be down for roughly two hours.
That means you can expect the servers to pop back up and Season 9 to begin at roughly 4 AM PT, though Netease has made it clear that server return times can vary based on maintenance progress, so don’t take this as gospel.
That said, it’s been a pretty reliable process in the past, so barring an unusual outcome, you should only need to be away from Marvel Rivals for around two hours.
If you’re not from the West Coast and want to know how the maintenance impacts you, you’re in luck, as we’ve broken down the timings for a variety of different time zones, as seen in the table below:

What’s In The Marvel Rivals July 10 Update?

There’s plenty to unpack from the July 10 update, as it marks the beginning of Season 9 in Marvel Rivals, and it’s the biggest yet.
As mentioned above, the Team-Up changes will fundamentally alter the future of Marvel Rivals forever, with every character essentially being buffed to some degree. Partner that with the addition of regenerative health for a bulk of heroes, and the match-to-match experience will be drastically different.
And all of that’s without getting into the usual aspects of a new season! Jubilee joins the roster as a Strategist, and she already looks pretty powerful. Black Widow has also received a long-requested rework, so it kind of feels like getting two new characters for the price of one—that price being for free!
New events and plotlines also begin, with Apocalypse’s murder the running thread throughout the season. We’ll have to uncover his murderer, all whilst collecting a batch of snazzy skins along the way.
