Fortnite servers are down for several hours for the June 25 update, though the exact time of their return has not been confirmed by Epic Games.

While the servers went off earlier for the last patch on June 6, going down immediately after the conclusion of the live event, Epic Games will return to the familiar downtime schedule for the first mid-season update.

Fortnite’s servers are set to go offline at around 4 AM ET on June 25 and will remain unavailable for around three-to-four hours, based on the standard downtime for updates of this size.

That means you can expect the Fortnite servers to return at around 7-8 AM ET on June 25, but social media is the best place to track when the servers are back online.

What’s in The Fortnite June 25 Update?

The headline addition in the June 25 update in Fortnite is the start of Season 9 in Fortnite OG, which is expected to culminate with a live event ahead of Season X.

The seasonal shift in Fortnite OG comes alongside a new Battle Pass, updates to the map and POIs, and loot pool updates, but it’s not just Fortnite OG that’s seeing fresh additions.

In the main Battle Royale, five new Sprites are being added to the loot pool to collect, including a World Cup-themed soccer Sprite.

The update should also drop fresh hints on what’s coming to Fortnite in the future, while it also marks the start of Fortnite’s Gone Wild event, which runs through July 9.
