Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a full-on remake of the 2013 adventure, and still stands as one of Ubisoft’s crowning achievements. But there’s a parrot on your shoulder squawking at you about how the remake will review, and whether Ubisoft has got Resynced right: Cue the review embargo date.
We all want Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced to be amazing. Ubisoft needs a BIG win sooner rather than later, and while AC Shadows was good, the company simply cannot mess up the Black Flag Remake. After all, the blueprint and DNA are already there, but not all game remakes turn out well.

July 8 is the official review embargo date for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, and this is a universal date, as due to the time difference, all reviews go out on this day.
Reviews go up one day before the game’s big release.
So, if you’ve locked in a pre-order, you’ll be waiting until close to launch to see what reviewers think of the remake.
From the gameplay footage we’ve seen already, it looks good. Remember, this was Ubisoft’s ultimate pirate game, before they went and made a ‘AAAA’ pirate game that paled in comparison!
Resynced should be gold.
