What Are The Chances That GTA 6 Will Be Delayed Again? We Checked The Odds

Grand Theft Auto 6 is slated to hit the market on November 19th, and all signs point to it being the most impactful video game launch in history. It’s set to be a paradigm-shifting title that will write off millions of gamers worldwide for a good couple of days, but there are still many who are worried it’ll be delayed again.

It’s such a contentious topic that some are literally betting on whether GTA 6 will be delayed again before November. It’s highly unlikely that it will be, but you never know, right? Let’s take a look at the odds.

Will GTA 6 Be Delayed Again?

GTA 6’s core marketing campaign is yet to kick off at the time of writing, but the pre-order window has opened up, and folks are getting ready to receive the biggest game of all time. The hype surrounding GTA 6 is unbelievable, and it has the potential to make Take-Two and Rockstar Games more than $1 billion in a single day.

To date, GTA 6 has been postponed twice. It was supposed to be in our hands in Fall 2025, and then on May 26th, 2026. Those dates came and went, marred by Take-Two issuing sizeable delays, and now, it’s set to drop on November 19th, right in time for the festive season.

But as I said, many are concerned it’ll be delayed again.

For instance, over on Polymarket, people are predicting there’s a 9% chance that GTA 6 will be delayed before November 19th.

In January 2026, that prediction count was floating around 55%, and lo and behold, GTA 6 was postponed. As time goes on, the predictions are dropping off, and the current figure is the lowest it has ever been, which indicates more folks having faith in Rockstar and Take-Two as the weeks wear on.

It’s really quite unlikely that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be delayed again.
