Vitality’s 22-Map Win Streak Puts Them Second only to NIP

Team Vitality have written into another chapter of Counter-Strike history with their win at the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026. The third tournament victory for Vitality in the year not only saw them tie Astralis’ record of top four placements, but also extended their map win streak to 22 consecutive maps at Big Events, second only to the legendary NIP.

How Vitality built the 22-map streak

Vitality’s streak of maps wins stretches back to PGL Cluj-Napoca in the middle of Feb. 2026. The team started the event off with a 2-1 win over G2, before facing The MongolZ who defeated them in a closely-fought Mirage game 13-10. From there, Vitality battered the Mongolian side 13-4 on Dust2 and Nuke, kicking off their streak.
