It was announced at the latest Nintendo Direct event that Meccha Chameleon will be released for the Switch 2 later today.
Meccha Chameleon is a viral Steam game that has taken the world by storm thanks to its interesting hide-and-seek mechanics. Players have been eagerly waiting for a console release announcement, and this has finally arrived. However, only the Switch 2 has been announced; we still don’t know about the other consoles, PS5 and XBOX Series X/S.
Meccha Chameleon Shadowdrops for Switch 2 Later Today
During the latest Nintendo Direct event, players were greeted with an amazing surprise, with developers confirming that Meccha Chameleon will be available to play on the Switch 2 later today. It is a highly popular title in the Steam community, crossing 10 million copies sold within the first month and hitting 20 million sales last month.
Meccha Chameleon is a straightforward and enjoyable game, whether you’re playing with friends or online. The game has two roles: hiders and seekers. Hiders have a unique mechanic that allows them to embody a chameleon. A paint system lets players paint their bodies to blend in with the environment. The better you paint, the more effective your hiding spot will be.
Seekers, on the other hand, have a slightly more difficult job, as they need to use their eagle eyes to spot who is hiding on the map, and players can get really creative with their hiding spots. You can either play with your friends, join an online lobby, or even host a server where you could have 2-10 players.
