Riot Games has announced that Valorant Mobile has exceeded 100 million registered players in China alone.
This comes just before the mobile game reaches its one-year anniversary, having released solely in China on August 19, 2025.
In its first 24 hours, the game attracted around 170k downloads and generated around $1 in revenue.
Then, back in May 2026, Riot announced that Valorant Mobile had surpassed 10 million active daily players without a global launch.
When Will Valorant Mobile Release Globally?
All of these milestones have been reached in China alone, as the game has not been made available outside the country.
Valorant fans have eagerly been awaiting an announcement for a global release, especially as PC players began to get jealous of Valorant Mobile’s exclusive bundles.
However, the wait may not be much longer.
Some community members are beginning to speculate that Valorant Mobile will become available to everyone later this year.
It’s looking likely that Valorant Mobile will release globally during Gamescom 2026.
Tencent announced a new event, the Worlds of Play: The Game Art Exhibition, that will take place at Gamescom between August 27 and 29.
The gallery will feature artwork and interactive exhibits celebrating the publisher’s multiple gaming titles.
And Valorant Mobile has been included on that list with a first look at the English logo for the game.
Plus, the event being in August would mean it would be just after the one-year anniversary of the game’s initial release.
