VCT Game Changers Championship 2025 format, explained
The format follows a standard double-elimination rule: If a team loses two series, they’re out.
The draw for the first few games was conducted live at São Paulo’s Riot Games Arena after the Americas Last Chance Qualifier Final for Game Changers ended. Riot ensured that two teams of the same region aren’t paired for the first few matchups (upper round one and upper quarterfinals) to maximize the number of potential international clashes.
Also, the top seed from EMEA, G2 Gozen, and the Americas (North America), Shopify Rebellion Gold, have directly entered the second round (upper quarterfinals). They’ll play the winners of upper round one in their first matches.
VCT Game Changers Championship 2025 prize distribution, explained
