Ubisoft Co-Founder Killed in France Plane Crash

Claude Guillemot, one of the brothers who founded Ubisoft in 1986, has been killed in a plane crash in Western France, it has been reported.

On Friday, June 19, Guillemot was flying in a Cessna 421 tourist plane when it crashed in La Baule, France. The circumstances of the crash aren’t clear, but two facilities were confirmed, one being Guillemot, and another being a flight instructor.

Per reports, identification was delayed due to the nature of the crash, with the plane being ablaze when emergency services reached the crash site.
