Riot Games has revealed two more playable fighters for 2XKO in Senna and Thresh, who will release at the same time.

Senna and Thresh will release in 2XKO on June 9, taking the fighting game up to 15 characters.

Earlier this year, Riot claimed five new fighters would be added to the game in 2026 and have already added Caitlyn and Akali this year.

Senna and Thresh share a bitter past from their League of Legends lore, yet they can team up together in 2XKO.

It has also been confirmed by Riot that both champions will be usable for competitors at 2XKO EVO 2026, part of the biggest FGC event of the year.

Thresh in 2XKO

Thresh brings his unique LoL kit to the fighting game, constantly hooking in enemies from afar and can spawn his teammates to his lantern’s location.

His official description reads:

“Wicked and cunning, Thresh is a malevolent specter that delights in tormenting opponents, imprisoning their souls in his lantern for all eternity.

“He uses his chain to attack from tricky and unexpected angles, while his lantern lets him teleport and summon jailed souls for aid.”

He also brings a brand new archetype to the game in Strategist, but Riot Games has not shared any further details on what this means.

Perhaps it pertains to planning ahead with lantern placement, or simply is a character that relies on teamwork.

Senna in 2XKO

Meanwhile, Senna has two distinct playstyles in 2XKO, used her Relic Cannon to shoot at opponents from range or turning into her wraith mode, born from years of soul being held captive by Thresh, to put the weapon away and fight in a melee form.

Senna’s official description says:

“A champion of the light cursed by darkness, Senna blasts foes with her vaunted relic cannon before rushing them down as a shadowy wraith. With two forms to choose from, she’s highly capable of redeeming any corrupted soul.

Senna also brings a new archetype to the game in hybrid, seeing as she works as both a zoner and a rushdown character.

Additionally, the fighting game will also have its first team-based esports tournament later this year in 2XKO Red Bull Knockout.
