The Wolf Among Us Remastered Launches October 29

As announced during the 2026 Summer Games Fest presentation, The Wolf Among Us, the beloved Telltale title from 2013, is getting a remaster.

If you don’t know, you play as Bigby, a take on the Big Bad Wolf. You are the sheriff of Fabletown, and you’re tasked with interacting with other creatures from fairy tales as you try to solve a murder.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered Launch Date Confirmed

The Wolf Among Us Remastered will be available on PC, via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, XBOX, and Nintendo Switch on October 29, 2026.

News was confirmed via a new gameplay trailer released during the week of Gamescom 2026. The game will also feature enhanced visuals, improved performance and accessibility, Noir Mode, and over an hour of bonus content.

“To honor the original story experience, Telltale has brought Fabletown to life again through enhanced visuals, refined character and environment presentation, an updated user interface, improved accessibility features, and technical enhancements including upgraded animation, audio, resolution, and framerate improvements. In addition, players will have access to more than an hour of bonus content featuring behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, image galleries, and deleted scenes exploring the creation of the noir classic,” Telltale wrote in its initial press release.”
