Star Wars Jedi’s Cal Kestis Has ‘More Stories Coming’

A new statement from Disney reveals that we haven’t seen the end of Cal Kestis yet, but it doesn’t clarify what that means for the Star Wars Jedi series.

Players were informed in 2024 that Star Wars Jedi doesn’t end with Survivor and that the series would receive a trilogy treatment. However, there have been no new details about the game since Respawn stated it was “working hard to bring the final chapter of this thrilling story to players.” Now, some new hope has arrived for the series.

Star Wars Jedi’s 3 Won’t be the Only Thing Cal Kestis Features In

During a new conversation with Gamerant, a Lucasfilm representative revealed that players will see much more of Cal Kestis. When asked about the character’s future, it was stated, “Never say never. We’ve got his lightsaber in the park. We’ve got more Cal stories coming.” However, we don’t know whether this means new games, series, or movies featuring the character, but we do know that players will see a lot more of him.

Fans were recently informed that Cal Kestis will be making his television debut this year; however, it may not be as substantial as some might hope. The announcement reveals that the character will appear in September 2026 in a four-part sequel series titled “LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past.” While fans may desire both live-action and animated adaptations of the character, they will have to wait to discover what Lucasfilm has planned for the future.
