This timing would align with Sony’s usual practice, as State of Play events are typically held in September. In the past two years, the presentations took place toward the end of the month: on the 25th last year and the 24th the year before. The earliest occurrence was in 2021 when a PlayStation showcase was held on September 9.

September is a significant month for PlayStation, as they are set to release the exclusive Wolverine game developed by Insomniac. Additionally, with Grand Theft Auto 6 scheduled for release in November, many games are expected to launch in September and October. Other titles coming out in the next few months include Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered and Final Fantasy Resonance.

Insider Gaming will keep track of this story and provide updates as more information becomes available.
