SK Gaming has completed its League of Legends roster for the LEC Summer Split with the signing of Seo ‘SlowQ’ Ye-bit until November 2027.

The Korean midlaner represented SK earlier in the year during the Esports World Cup Qualifiers, where they were eliminated by Galions.

Now, the organisation has signed him after Turkish organisation Misa Esports withdrew from League of Legends back in April.

Meanwhile, SK benched Norwegian midlaner Adam ‘LIDER’ Ilyasov last month after failing to qualify for the LEC Playoffs again.

SK’s LEC Struggles

At the start of the year, SK Gaming handed the keys to high-profile signing Mihael ‘Mikyx’ Mehle.

They allowed the former G2 Esports and Fnatic support to have a large say in building their new roster.

Mikyx then brought in his former G2 teammate Martin ‘Wunder’ Hansen and his friend LIDER.

LIDER was a controversial choice, having failed in the LEC previously as a player who seemingly could only play assassins, but Mikyx believed he had at he mechanics to answer Rasumus ‘Caps’ Winther.

However, LIDER heavily struggled and was labelled as a major contributor to the team’s inconsistencies while rookie ADC Josip ‘Jopa’ Čančar was impressing.

SK quoted an “ambition of improvement for the Summer Split” after benching him just over a week ago.

Meanwhile, SlowQ impressed heavily in EMEA Masters both with MISA this year and on Karmine Corp Blue last year, where he helped end Los Ratones’ remarkable win streak.
