Riot Unveil LEC XPO Return & Watch Party for LEC Summer Finals in Nice

Riot Games has announced that the LEC Summer Finals in Nice will see the return of LEC XPO, the official live fan festival of League of Legends in EMEA.

The free-to-attend September 19-20 event will be complemented by a live watch party where fans can watch the LEC Finals in Nice’s open-air Théâtre de Verdure.

LEC XPO 2026 at LEC Summer Finals details

While the LEC Summer Finals take place in Nice’s Palais Nikaia, the LEC XPO will see the League of Legends community break out onto the city itself.

The LEC XPO will take place at Nice’s historic Jardin Albert 1er, providing a free-to-attend festival for the LoL community and its fandom, and open to all ages.

The event will run from September 19-20, opening at 11:00 local time each day, closing at 19:00 on Saturday and 18:00 on Sunday.

As for activities, Riot has promised that fans will have the chance to meet some of the biggest names in esports, with G2 Esports and Karmine Corp in attendance, alongside additional teams yet to be announced.

The event will also feature booths and League of Legends-related activities provided by Riot partners, including KIA, Kit Kat, Euronics, Red Bull, and ExpressVPN.

More details will be revealed closer to the date, but Riot has promised to deliver experiences for fans across other Riot Games titles, including Teamfight Tactics, as well as a “cultural celebration that brings the very best of Runeterra to life for fans.”

LEC XPO brings LEC Summer Finals Watch Party to streets of Nice

For fans without a ticket to the Palais Nikaia, they can join the watch party at the Théâtre de Verdure in the Jardin Albert 1er for the open-air watch party.

While the watch party is, like the LEC XPO, free to attend, the venue itself does have limited space; therefore, Riot encourages fans to book a watch party ticket to ensure their entry into the venue.

As part of their announcement, Riot said, “We welcome you to pack a picnic, gather with your friends under the Mediterranean sun, and watch the LEC matches together.”
