Riot Announces First VCT 2027 Open Qualifiers for November

Riot Games has announced that Open Qualifiers for the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2027 season will begin this November.

Earlier this year, the publisher announced that VCT 2027 will be made up of open circuits, with any team able to qualify alongside partnered franchises.

These November qualifiers will determine the final teams for next year’s Kickoff tournaments.

VCT Americas, VCT EMEA, and VCT Pacific Kickoff will each feature 12 teams: eight partner teams and four teams advancing through Open Qualifiers.

Meanwhile, VCT CN details will be announced at a later date.

VCT 2027 Regional Open Qualifiers

These Open Qualifiers will serve as a path for teams into the top-tier Valorant ecosystem. Open teams will be able to qualify for Kickoff, Cups, Masters, and Champions.

And starting in 2027, Riot will offer financial support to non-partnered teams through fixed qualification payments on top of any prize pool earnings.

There will be multiple Open Qualifiers throughout the 2027 season, offering opportunities to qualify for Cups, which have replaced the regular season.

Additionally, Open and creator-led teams that retain at least three of their five players will be able to maintain their competitive progress throughout the season.

The Open Qualifiers will take place across 16 regions spanning the four regions:

  • Latin America South Open Qualifiers
  • Brazil Open Qualifiers
• VCT EMEA
  • Europe Open Qualifiers
  • Türkiye Open Qualifiers
  • MENA Open Qualifiers
• VCT Pacific
  • South Korea Open Qualifiers
  • Japan Open Qualifiers
  • Thailand Open Qualifiers
  • Indonesia Open Qualifiers
  • Vietnam Open Qualifiers
  • Southeast Asia Open Qualifiers (Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and the rest of Southeast Asia)
  • South Asia Open Qualifiers
  • Oceania Open Qualifiers
