Capcom has announced a limited-time crossover event between two of its biggest franchises: Resident Evil and Monster Hunter. The collaboration is set to take place in Resident Evil Survival Unit, the mobile-based strategy game that has been turning heads since launching last November.

The collaboration will introduce Monster Hunter-inspired elements to the world of Resident Evil. Those playing Survival Unit will be able to enjoy the crossover event from July 2nd, but the event will end on July 29th.

Resident Evil Survival Unit x Monster Hunter Incoming

On July 2nd, Resident Evil Survival Unit players will be able to soak up all the offerings of a Monster Hunter-themed collaboration. As part of the event, they’ll be able to unlock exclusive in-game rewards, all inspired by the legendary Monster Hunter series.

On social media, a new teaser trailer was released to celebrate the upcoming event:

Resident Evil Survival Unit dropped last November, bringing another facet to a far-reaching and iconic post-apocalyptic series. It’s a free-to-play strategy game available on both Apple and Android devices, and it currently has a massive, global reach, being available in 176 countries worldwide.

Monster Hunter, on the other hand, is another titanic Capcom series, which debuted in 2004. It’s a monster-hunting action title that invites players to track and defeat enormous enemies in wide, open environments.

Resident Evil and Monster Hunter represent two of Capcom’s finest, best-selling franchises. The recent release of Resident Evil Requiem quickly became one of 2026’s best-selling games.
