A new announcement confirms that the Rayman Legends: Retold developers have delayed the release date to December 2026.
Earlier this year, players have been hearing a lot of leaks and rumors about the Rayman Legends: Retold title ahead of the official reveal at the State of Play event in June. During the reveal, it was announced that the game was supposed to arrive on the first of October; however, those plans have since been changed.
Rayman Legends Retold Release Delayed to December
In a new announcement on the official X account (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that the Rayman Legends: Retold release date has been delayed. The game was supposed to release on October 1, but it will now release on December 3, 2026. Surprisingly, the game has already gone gold, but the developers require some extra time to ensure “every detail gets the care it deserves.” The game will be releasing for the PS5, XBOX Series X/S, Switch 2 and PC.
However, there is something to do during the extra waiting time. The developers have confirmed that a Game Overview trailer for Rayman Legends Retold is set to arrive on September 22. On the same day, a selection of creators and press will be sharing “fresh hands-on impressions.” The new release date is pretty close to the launch of GTA 6, which is a window that many developers and publishers have been avoiding to bring maximum eyes to their game.
