Gameplay screenshots of Rayman Legends: Retold have leaked online ahead of its official reveal.
The screenshots were posted as part of an outlet’s preview of Rayman Legends: Retold, which accidentally went live ahead of today’s embargo date. The article has since been deleted, but it still remains live on the Wayback Machine.
While we can’t upload the images natively to the website due to DMCA’s, you can see the screenshots on Wayback Machine here.
As pointed out by those who have already seen the images, the watercolouring look has been removed altogether and replaced with a more modern one.
Insider Gaming won’t have a preview of the game later tonight, but we have seen hours of footage and are impressed by the visuals, which the screenshots don’t do justice to. Rayman Legends was first released in September 2013, with fans of the series criticizing the decision to remake a game that still lives up to today. However, it seems like this remake is having its visuals completely overhauled, in addition to new features, levels, and more.
In other news about Rayman Legends: Retold, other leaks have revealed that the game will also come with the original Rayman Origins for completely free, essentially making the game a two-for-one combo deal. Rayman Legends: Retold will also include couch co-op.
The game is scheduled to release on October 1, 2026 on the Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
It’s understood that Rayman Legends: Retold will be revealed as a part of today’s PlayStation State of Play.
