Pokémon TCG Pocket Players Can Become Honorary Team Rocket Members in New Event

The Pokémon Company has revealed a new event to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Team Rocket’s Ambition expansion in Pokémon TCG Pocket, giving players an opportunity to become “honorary members of Team Rocket.”

The iconic villanous group will take center stage when Team Rocket’s Ambition launches in Pokémon TCG Pocket next week as the B4a expansion, bringing Owner’s Pokémon into the game for the first time, along with fan-favorite Pokémon like Mewtwo, Persian, and Houndoor.

Ahead of the launch, a new in-person limited-time event has been unveiled, offering fans the best opportunity ever to protect the world from devastation.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Team Rocket Event in London

In a press release, it was announced that an interactive event themed around Team Rocket will take place this weekend, August 22 and 23, at Potter’s Field Park London.

During the event, trainers can “put their skills to the test to become honorary members of Team Rocket,” and the event is free to attend, running from 9 AM to 6 PM each day.

Players will be invited to solve a series of puzzles at the event to decipher clues to uncover a secret code, which will allow trainers to event “a hidden location to receive a message from Team Rocket’s boss, become honorary Team Rocket recruits, and receive a themed tote bag.”

Participants will also receive a code for 24 Pack Hourglasses to use in Pokémon TCG Pocket, arriving at the perfect time in order to be able to open extra packs of Team Rocket’s Ambition when the set releases next week.
