In anticipation of the launch of the first part of the new content, scheduled for August 2026, various retailers have posted images of the Digital Download Card for the Expansion Pass, which showcases new details.

One eye-catching addition is the tease of Snubbull, a Pokémon not currently available in Pokopia, which likely means its evolved form, Granbull, will also be added to the game.

However, potentially the most significant tease comes at the right side of the image, where Snubbull is featured, which shows the Pokémon and Peakychu both wearing attire.

The left-side of the image is clearly themed around the first piece of new content coming to Pokopia in August, with the introduction of underwater exploration, alongside new Pokémon in the form of Popplio and Manaphy.

A new town, Bubbly Basin, is confirmed to be arriving as part of the paid DLC in August, but Koei Tecmo has already confirmed that Part 2, releasing later in 2026, does not feature a new town.

Instead, it appears the major feature introduced with update will be the ability to customize your favorite Pokémon in the game with clothing attire.

In the image, Snubbull is wearing a bow tie, while Peakychu is wearing wings and a hat. At the moment, it’s unclear whether specific Pokémon will have restrictions on the attire they can wear, and whether you can create custom designs.

While the news that there wouldn’t be a new town in part two of the Expansion Pass disappointed many fans, the tease of the new features showcases that there is still plenty to look forward to.
