The biggest changes in the Pokémon Champions Regulation M-B June 17 Update include nerfs to Annihilape’s Rage Fist and Final Gambit, as well as Grimmsnarl’s False Surrender and Thunder Wave.

Are you one of the people who loves using the fearsome-looking Annihilape? Or do you fancy yourself a Grimmsnarl player? Well, you might want to rethink this, as the devs have come down hard on both.

According to what people have been able to gather, Annihilape can no longer use Final Gambit and Rage Fist. On the other hand, Grimmsnarl can no longer use False Surrender and Thunder Wave.

Thanks to Light for the latest on the update. We’ll update you if any more significant tweaks are discovered.

  • ‘Sceptile now gains access to Earth Power, giving it valuable Ground-type coverage.
  • Scolipede picks up both Leech Life and Trailblazer, adding recovery and extra utility to its toolkit.
  • Annihilape can no longer use Final Gambit, removing one of its high-risk options.
  • Grimmsnarl loses False Surrender and Thunder Wave, reducing both its offensive and support capabilities.
  • Scrafty no longer learns Parting Shot, limiting its pivoting potential.
  • Overqwil loses access to Mortal Spin, cutting back on its hazard control options.
  • Metagross can no longer learn Heavy Slam, changing some of its coverage choices.’

Furthermore, it’s been confirmed (credit to Centro Leaks and more sources) that Rage Fist has been nerfed. What apparently happens now its power is reset when Annihilape is switched out.

Say goodbye to tactical retreats!
