Cluj-Napoca and PGL have extended their partnership through 2029, locking in the BT Arena as a home for world-class CS2 competition for at least five consecutive years. The city’s mayor, Emil Boc, made the announcement via an Instagram post, confirming that the Transylvanian city will host PGL events in 2027, 2028, and 2029.
“We have extended our partnership with PGL Romania for 2027, 2028 and 2029 so that in the BT Arena multipurpose hall in Cluj-Napoca we can also organize world-class esports competitions in the coming years, just as we did this year,” Boc said in his announcement.
