Passion UA Set to Sell Players According to Report – Where could they go?

A report by HLTV has claimed that Passion UA is “open to offers” for their players following an underwhelming season that saw the organization miss out on the IEM Cologne Major 2026.

The report begs the question of where Passion UA’s roster could end up, with a few pieces of the roster remaining highly rated individually.

Where could Passion UA’s players end up?

try

There is no doubt that Santino ‘try’ Rigal will be Passion UA’s hottest commodity. Only joining the roster in February, the signing of the AWPer was considered a major coup for the org, but likely an expensive one.

Following a strong showing at the StarLadder Budapest Major, try remains one of the bright spots in a dark era for AWPing talent, making him a potential solution to several rosters.

Following last year’s benching of Helvijs ‘broky’ Saukants combined with his 2026 performance, perhaps try could be a solution to FaZe’s AWPer problem. The roster seems to be moving more towards standard Counter-Strike than the chaos where broky has traditionally shone, meaning try can provide a strong backbone for the roster.

Speaking of struggling AWPers, Liquid’s Roland ‘ultimate’ Tomkowiak has looked out of his depth ever since his initial positive showings in Liquid were heavily countered.

The only thing that has likely kept the poorly performing AWPer in the roster is the unavailability of better options. try could change that, and finally put Liquid on a more positive path.

The AWPer may also consider a return to South America, where the route to majors may prove simpler, but one would hope that whatever move try chooses is an ambitious one.

jT

After try, Johnny ‘jT’ Theodosiou will be the most in-demand individual. jT’s reputation remains intact despite Passion’s struggles, with many analysts wanting him to step up to a bigger org to really test his potential as a leader.

One potential route could see jT return to his adoptive home of North America in the form of Team Liquid, whose time with Kamil ‘siuhy’ Szkaradek has been painful for both parties.

At the very top end of possible destinations, one wonders whether MOUZ has jT on their radar.

MOUZ are currently in an experimental phase with their roster, running entry-rifler Dorian ‘xertioN’ Berman as their IGL and testing Copenhagen 2024 Major MVP Justinas ‘jL’ Lekavičius in the roster alongside promoted academy talent Adrian ‘xelex’ Vincze.

There are a few indicators that the current roster may not be the permanent solution for the team. First of all, neither of the new riflers has the roles they would traditionally be associated with, especially xelex, who lacks the star roles from the Academy roster.

More importantly, MOUZ will have to decide whether xertioN’s IGLing is the way to go. His calling has shown strength when he has a strong performance, but MOUZ’s gameplan crumbled to pieces in the Astana playoffs when his form slumped.

That’s perhaps too much responsibility for one player in a roster, and jT could be a solution to offload some of that responsibility. jT is also less demanding in his roles than someone like Damjan ‘kxysan’ Stoilkovski, who will want rotation spots on the CT side.

Other teams lacking in permanent leadership include FaZe and BC.Game, but let’s not get too crazy.

nicx

Nick ‘nicx’ Lee stands out as the last remaining American of the once Complexity roster that was transferred to Passion UA.

After a statistically poor few months in a disrupted roster, the anchor seems likely to return to the NA scene in order to try to rise again with a different project.

The positions nicx plays do not exactly make the player a hot property, largely regarded as plug and play with interchangeable players, therefore the top NA teams like M80, NRG, or Wildcard may not be keen to make a change simply for the sake of it.

Senzu

To this day, little is known about Azbayar ‘Senzu’ Munkhbold’s departure from The MongolZ. The bizarre nature of his departure, when he was statistically their best player, was only doubled by his short stint in the Passion UA project.

Currently on loan to BC.Game, the rifler is still a sharp shooter, but has a lot of questionable decision-making, including joining the BC.Game project.

Senzu remains, mechanically, a Tier 1 talent, with many teams begging for more firepower. Passion UA’s own CEO claimed they outbid NAVI for the player before signing him, something later denied by NAVI’s Head of Esports.

With all the chaos swirling around Senzu, it seems doubtful Senzu will get interest from the very top teams, with a permanent move to BC.Game a potential outcome of Passion UA’s fire sale.

kvem

At times, Vladyslav ‘kvem’ Korol has looked like Passion UA’s best player, despite his relative lack of high-level experience.

The Ukrainian brought his name into the limelight as part of Counter-Strike streamer Mark ‘ohnePixel’ Zimmermann’s DRILLAS roster.

Partially due to nationality, Kvem seems the most likely to stay in Passion UA if the organization wishes to remain in the space.

That seems likely, with Passion UA’s founder and owner being former Manchester City and Arsenal footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko, who is a huge fan of Counter-Strike generally.

The sale of the team, which missed out on the IEM Cologne 2026 Major, may be seeking to reduce the costs associated with the roster and go back to its Ukrainian roots, with kvem potentially staying in the roster.
