Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has been delayed again. This time, it was said it would not be released until at least 2027.
Marvel 1943 is a narrative game featuring Heroes such as Captain America and the Black Panther of the 1940s. The game was revealed several years ago, and in November of last year it was delayed, with the developer stating it wouldn’t be released until early 2026. Now, we know that it won’t be released in 2026 at all.
Marvel 1943 Team Given More Time to Finish the Game
One executive at the newly formed Paramount Games Studio has provided new details about the forthcoming game. The good news is that it’s real and playable. The bad news is that it’s still a ways away. Shawn Kittelsen, the head of creative at the new Paramount gaming division, was recently interviewed by IGN, where he shared the update.
“There was a decision made that rather than try to push the game out as quickly as possible, it would be better to focus on the quality of the game and making sure the team has time to cook. So we’re giving them the time to cook. We believe in Amy and the whole team there and supporting them, and that game will come out when it’s ready. But it is very real, and we are continuing to invest in it,” he said before revealing that the game won’t be coming in 2026.
