New Fortnite Season Features Gaming Icons Like Crash Bandicoot & Sonic, It’s Claimed

Several Fortnite leakers have all corroborated the same reports that an upcoming Fortnite season will largely focus on classic video game characters we’ve all grown up loving over the past few decades.

The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 end date will approach, and whilst we have to say goodbye to one season, it means the excitement of a new one can already start—more so if recent Fortnite leaks and rumors are correct.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 to be Gaming Themed?

Per @SpushFNBR (through @Wensoing), it appears that Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 will pay homage to gaming greats that were established long before Fortnite was even conceptualized.

Here’s what SpushFNBR said:

‘STRONG RUMOR: CHAPTER 7 SEASON 4 WILL BE GAMING LEGENDS THEMED!

This season should include many of the gaming collaborations that have leaked throughout this year, including Sonic, Megaman, Crash Bandicoot, Kingdom Hearts, and many more!’

Wenso (through @blortzen) believes ‘Sonic will most likely be in the S4 battlepass,’ adding more fuel to the fire.

Knowing Epic’s pulling power and desire to have every celebrity and character in existence available as a Fortnite skin, and given that we’ve had modern gaming legends like Kratos, Master Chief, and more, in Fortnite, I think all bets are off as to who could arrive with their own bundle.

A massive Fortnite map filled with POIs specific to Sonic, Crash, or Kingdom Hearts would be spectacular.
