Viral sensation Meccha Chameleon has revealed a huge sales landmark, surpassing the 20 million mark in just over two months since launch.

The indie hide-and-seek title surged up the list of popular titles, becoming a favorite for gamers and streamers alike, and now a new landmark has been met.

The major 20 million sales landmark was confirmed in a post on Steam and results in Meccha Chameleon standing as one of the biggest breakthrough hits of the year.

Developed and published by lemorion_1224, Meccha Chameleon boasts over 40,000 Very Positive English reviews on Steam, and the title has been further enhanced by a dedicated modding community, adding thousands of maps to the mix.

The affordable price tag has certainly helped Meccha Chameleon hit massive sales marks, but the gameplay mechanics have helped the title become a favorite for gamers playing with their friends.

Many gamers have proven to be extremely talented with their camouflage, perfectly replicating the backgrounds they’re hiding in front of, even with complex paintings.

Streamers have also helped the game surge in popularity, with a wide array of big names making content around the title, while some hiding spots have gone viral on platforms like TikTok.

Currently, Meccha Chameleon is only available on PC via Steam and there is no news about a potential console port or the game coming to Mac.
