Insomniac Games has released a new CGI-powered trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine, slated to launch on September 15. It’s one of this year’s most anticipated games, and the new trailer is as brutal as you could hope for, painting the perfect picture of what’s to come.
It’s called the ‘Ain’t No Hero’ trailer, which is purely indicative of Wolverine’s stance as something of an antihero in the Marvel universe, much like characters like The Punisher.
Wolverine’s Latest Trailer is Thrilling

Before this trailer dropped, the latest update on Marvel’s Wolverine came at the recent State of Play showcase, which revealed an extended gameplay segment that gave the world the best look possible at what to expect when the game drops in September.
The walkthrough featured our man Logan teaming up with Jean Grey to rescue abducted mutants, and along the way, we also set eyes on Sabertooth. Bizarrely, he’s taking the form of an ally – or at least, he was in that segment.
We also know that Leech, Omega Red, Sentinels, and more will feature in the game.
Insomniac was also forced to respond to recent concerns about the game’s physical presence, given Sony’s new stance on printing discs for new PlayStation 5 games. You can rest assured that Marvel’s Wolverine will come on a disc, and that’s because it’s arriving almost eighteen months before the proposed change to drop discs for new PS5 games.
That’s not arriving until January 2028.
