LoL Esports Launches World Star Challengers Invitational 2026 for Tier 2’s rising stars

League of Legends Esports Tier 2 teams finally have the chance to go global and face international teams for the first time.

Riot Games and TJ Sports have announced the World Star Challengers Invitational (WSCI) 2026, a new international League event that will bring 16 Tier 2 teams from Asia, Europe, and the Americas together on one stage this September. It’s a first for the Tier 2 scene, which has historically stayed within regional lines with different tournaments.
