TT Games has revealed that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will release for the Switch 2 in September 2026.
The latest LEGO adventure from TT Games was released earlier this month and is receiving positive reviews from both critics and players. As of now, the game boasts a Metascore of 84 and a user score of 8.7. Now, the developers have confirmed that the title will soon be available on a brand new platform.

A new announcement on the official X account (formerly Twitter) of LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight reveals that the Switch 2 release date is September 18, 2026. Interested readers can purchase the game now on the Nintendo Store for $69.99. Players who pre-order the game will receive the “The Dark Knight Returns” batsuit.
About LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
In LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, players will be able to go through the origins of the cape crusaders, starting from his days with the League of Shadows, to becoming the savior of Gotham City. Players will also meet various characters they can play as, including Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl. There will be a variety of DC Super Villains to face off against, including The Joker, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane, and more.
The new game also features a fresh combat system that lets players leverage combos, stealth, and detective skills. You will have access to different types of Batmobiles and Batcycles to get across the city, and there are other traversal options, such as grappling and gliding, too. The map features different types of crimes, challenges, rewards, secrets, and iconic landmarks such as Arkham Asylum, Ace Chemicals, and Wayne Tower.
