A new find has revealed that Hazelight Games’ ‘It Takes Two’ could be aiming for a Nintendo Switch 2 release this October.
The finding came via Prowell Asia Holdings who is a Chinese games distributor, which revealed in one of its documents that It Takes Two is aiming for a Nintendo Switch 2 release later this year.

According to the document, which was first spotted by Nintendo Everything, EA is looking to release It Takes Two on the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 15, 2026.
The document reveals that It Takes Two will be available on a cartridge, though as a game-key card with an estimated 12.1GB file size.
The game first released on the Nintendo Switch in 2022, just one year after it released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. The game recieved generable favourable reviews from critics, and went on to win The Game of The Year Award at the annual The Game Awards.
A release of It Takes Two on the Nintendo Switch 2 will undoubtedly mean better resolution and graphics, which will be a warm welcome to both new and reaccuring players of the game.
Earlier this year, It Takes Two director Josef Fares had confirmed that a new Hazelight title was already in development; however, it was still in its early stages, with only 130 pages of ideas ready for the upcoming game’s story. But, he recently given players another teaser on what the studios next game may entail.
