It Takes Two gets a free Switch upgrade and cross-play when it lands on Nintendo Switch 2 in October

It Takes Two is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct. 15, Electronic Arts and Hazelight Studios confirmed via an official EA press release, with the port developed by Turn Me Up Games. Players in South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand can get their hands on it the next day, due to regional time zone differences. The Switch 2 version will cost players $39.99 and preorders are available now.

Team Hazelight said in the official press release: "We are very happy to finally bring It Takes Two to even more players on Nintendo Switch 2. Everyone who owns the game on Nintendo Switch can upgrade for free! Our partners at Turn Me Up Games have done a great job optimizing the game."
