Will Mistfall Hunter be Free? F2P Status, Explained

I can confirm that Mistfall Hunter will not be a free-to-play game, and the studio has revealed that the different editions are paid.

We’ll get on to the editions and contents shortly, but one of the biggest questions asked about Mistfall Hunter ahead of time was if it was going to be free-to-play with optional microtransactions.

Skystone Games and Bellring Games have locked in the answer: Mistfall Hunter is not free-to-play.

How Much Does Mistfall Hunter Cost?

Mistfall Hunter has two editions, and the Standard Edition costs $24.99, with the Deluxe Edition ramping things up slightly to $39.99.

It’s up to you which level of support you offer to Mistfall Hunter, but the bare-minimum price tag is $24.99.

Although it has been made clear in a press release: ‘Players who buy Standard can upgrade to Deluxe at any time to unlock the same bonus content.’

Additionally:

‘All platforms get 10% off from July 30, 2026 (01:00 UTC) through August 12, 2026 (17:00 UTC).’
