Invictus Gaming are going back to Worlds after defeating JD Gaming 3:1 in the LPL Regional Finals. The former League of Legends world champions secured China’s fourth and final spot at Worlds 2026, joining Anyone’s Legend, Bilibili Gaming, and Top Esports in the Swiss Stage.
IG’s qualification looked like an insurmountable task in the middle of the season. The team won the Demacia Cup at the beginning of 2026 but finished 5th-6th in LPL Split 1 and 9th-12th in Split 2. They eventually found their footing with TheShy, Wei, Rookie, JiaQi, and Meiko, finishing 3rd in Split 3 to earn another chance at Worlds through the Regional Finals.
