How To Unlock Every Costume Color In Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls features a base roster of 20 characters, and they range from the popular to the niche. However, one thing ties them all together, and that’s customization.

There are eight costume colors in the base game for each of the playable characters, and each one looks unique for every fighter; for example, Color 05 might make Doctor Doom blue, but Peni Parker pink! That said, only the first four are unlocked from the get-go, so if you want the other four, you’ll need to complete some unique objectives to unlock them.

With that in mind, here’s how to unlock every costume color in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.

How To Unlock Color 05 In Marvel Tokon

To unlock Color 05 for each character in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, you need to complete their associated Episode.

The Episodes serve as the game’s story mode, with five Episodes on offer, one for each of the five teams. With that in mind, let’s say you want to unlock Color 05 for Iron Man: you’d therefore need to complete the Fighting Avengers Episode.

Thankfully, as four characters are tied to each Episode, that means you can unlock Color 05 for four fighters at a time, and if you’re planning to play through the campaign anyway, this should be a walk in the park.

How To Unlock Color 06 In Marvel Tokon

To Unlock Color 06 for each character in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, you’ll need to play 10 matches in the Casual game mode.

Thankfully, you won’t have to do this for each character, as doing so unlocks Color 06 for the entire roster! That means in as little as 10 matches, you’ll have a need customization option for the entire cast of characters.

And the best part? You don’t even need to win those matches! Playing 10 Casual matches unlocks Ranked, so if you’re interested in testing your mettle against other players competitively, you’ll unlock Color 06 naturally anyway.

How To Unlock Color 07 In Marvel Tokon

At the time of writing, the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls community is yet to discover how to unlock Color 07.

Current theories are tied to Arcadia Rumble or Survival, though initial findings are simply badges and gallery rewards. As things stand, it remains a mystery, with the community currently trying a variety of approaches.

That said, as soon as a solution is discovered, I’ll be sure to update the article with the exact solution, so be sure to check back regularly for updates.

How To Unlock Color 08 In Marvel Tokon

To unlock Color 08 for every character in Marvel Tokon, you’ll need to complete each Action Check and Combo Challenge.

These give you a great chance to learn new characters, and if you’re interested in picking up a new main, you should put yourself through these challenges anyway. That said, some of them can be tricky to pull off, especially some of the Combo Challenges.

The trickiest part is that each Color 08 is tied to every character individually, meaning you’ll need to complete their associated Action Check and Combo Challenge just to unlock their Color 08. If you want all 20, it might be a bit of a grind, but some unique skins are tied to Color 08, so it might be worth the hassle—you’ll be getting better at the game, at least!

How To Unlock Color 09 In Marvel Tokon

There is a final Color 09 in Marvel Tokon, but it’s tied exclusively to the Ultimate Edition of the game.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to unlock Color 09 in-game, as the set of cosmetics is exclusive to the Ultimate Edition, which is hardly a cheap offering. That said, if you want to complete the set of Colors, you’ll have to use your wallet instead of your fighting skills.
