Marvel Rivals Season 9 is here, and there’s a mystery afoot. With the sudden and mysterious death of Apocalypse catching everyone off guard, it seems like he’s not the only one to meet their end, as Wolverine, Psylocke and Gambit have also been murdered.

Now it’s about finding the killers and figuring out who killed Apocalypse, and it all starts with solving Wolverine’s case. This is all part of the new Death of Apocalypse event, with new cases dropping over the next week, and you’ll have to search for clues and deduce who the culprit is.

That said, it’s not an easy task, and piecing together the crime can be slightly confusing. With that in mind, here’s how to solve the Death of Wolverine during the Death of Apocalypse event in Marvel Rivals.

How To Solve Death Of Wolverine Event In Marvel Rivals

When you boot up the new Death of Apocalypse event in Marvel Rivals, you’ll realise that you need to piece together a crime scene by finding clues.

Unlike other events, where you just complete in-game challenges, this one is a little more involved. You’ll see that the gallery card above has a bunch of sparkles on it. Pressing on one will reveal details about the crime scene, with conversations between heroes highlighting some key words.

Eventually, you’ll have acquired all of the key words, and when you flip the page to investigate, you’ll find a body of text with words missing, as well as three people of interest. It’s your job to use the clues you’ve gathered to fill in the blanks, and get to the bottom of the mystery.

Once you’ve placed them all, it’ll tell you if there are any wrong answers, but not specifically which one needs changing. It can be a frustrating process, especially if you’re set on your answers. So, if you’re struggling to complete the challenge, here’s the official solution, but be warned, there are spoilers involved!

Solved Case For Death Of Wolverine In Marvel Rivals

Use the image above to place all of the clues in the right locations. Doing so will reveal Wolverine’s murderer…

… Who is none other than Bucky, the Winter Soldier. We get to dive into his haunting past, as we learn that he was the one who killed Logan’s family those years ago, all whilst under the control of Hydra.

Naturally, that activated Wolverine’s Berserker Rage, and a fight broke out between the two. However, Bucky’s mechanical arm struck the killing blow, as the Hive Cells not only drained Wolverine’s blood, but also his healing factor.

It’s a dramatic conclusion to the first case, but we still have Psylocke and Gambit’s to investigate—once they become available. That said, we’re one step closer to discovering who killed Apocalypse.
