China’s creature-capture phenomenon is set for a global launch after over two decades of waiting in 2027, and there’s an upcoming opportunity to become one of the first players to try Roco Kingdom.

Roco Kingdom is set to make waves in the genre when it lands, with over 400 Jinies to capture at launch, followed by regular updates with new content and creatures to collect.

If you’re keen to be among the first to play Roco Kingdom in the closed beta test, Insider Gaming has all the details on how to sign up.

Sign-ups for the Roco Kingdom closed beta test are now live, but there’s no guarantee of acceptance, and the doors won’t be open for everyone.

Unlike Open Betas, which provide free rein for players to jump in, closed betas are invite-only, with the developers likely seeking a range of demographics, and the criteria is unlikely to be made public.

While the application process for the Closed Beta Test is simple, it may take some time to complete, especially if you are yet to pre-register for the title.

Here’s the step-by-step process for signing up for the Roco Kingdom Closed Beta Test.

  1. Head to the official Roco Kingdom website.
  2. Click the ‘Join The Test’ button on the homepage.
  3. Enter your email on the pop-up that appears and press the ‘Get Code’ button.
  4. Complete the captcha puzzle to verify your humanity.
  5. Enter the verification code sent to your email and submit the form.
  6. Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on the subsequent pop-up.
  7. Complete pre-registration, if you haven’t already.
  8. Click ‘Join the Test’ and select your preferred platform and language.
  9. Select your platform details and complete the application form.
  10. Submit the form and await invitation details.

What Platforms is The Roco Kingdom Closed Beta Test on?

The Roco Kingdom Closed Beta Test is limited to PC and mobile devices, with both iOS and Android supported by the latter, and it won’t be coming to console.

While an XBOX Series X|S and PlayStation 5 launch for Roco Kingdom has been announced, neither console will be included in the upcoming Closed Beta Test.

Future betas may be on the cards for Roco Kingdom in the future ahead of a full release, which is still a way off as the release window is slated for 2027.

Cross-platform play will be supported in the full release and may require beta testing, so keep an eye out for the potential for further betas in the future.
