Palworld’s latest major update has changed the game significantly, including adding a bunch of new materials to craft, and Cryogenic Coolant is something every player is going to need to have in abundance.
Pocketpair‘s big 1.0 update to Palworld has brought the creature-capture title out of early access after over two years, adding a host of new Pals, areas to explore, and more.
If you’re in need of Cryogenic Coolant but can’t work out how to get it, Insider Gaming has all the important details.
Palworld Cryogenic Coolant Prerequisites

Before you can start making Cryogenic Coolant in Palworld, there are several prerequisites that must be ticked off.
Firstly, you need to have a supply of electricity in your base, consisting of an Electrical Generator, a Pal with the ability to generate electricity, and a Production Assembly Line.
For the Production Assembly Line to work, there must be an ample supply of electricity, and you may need to unlock several resources before you can build on, particularly Concrete.
If you tick off those requirements, the good news is Cryogenic Coolant is easy to craft, which is lucky, as there’s a host of things it’s required for.
How to Make Cryogenic Coolant in Palworld
Cryogenic Coolant in Palworld only requires two resources, and the hardest thing initially is ensuring you meet the prerequisites for crafting.
As Cryogenic Coolant requires at least a Production Assembly Line to craft, it may be the first time in your playthrough that you need to step up into the world of electrics. While that can take a bit of grinding, it’s not too difficult.
When that’s all set up, all that is required to craft Cryogenic Coolant is Aquatic Pal Fluids and Ice Organs, both of which are easy to obtain, and can be accessed immediately.
Pengullet and Celaray are among the early Pals that drop these items when eliminated, and they can also be found in abundance, so it’s easy to grind out as many of the resource as you need.
