One of the John Wick Simpsons quests that might leave you the most confused in Fortnite is hitting opponents with a Lancehead Clip. There are questions and answers in all of this: What is a Lancehead Clip? How to throw it, and more.
The Simpsons is back in Fortnite! Whether you grew up with The Simpsons or you’ve become a fan through Fortnite, the legendary show returns in Epic’s shooter. We get some of 2025’s content and a sprinkling of new flair.
But if a Lancehead Clip is making you yell ‘glavin’ louder than Professor Frink, follow our guide.
What is a Lancehead Clip in Fortnite?

A Lancehead Clip is used in a Lancehead Pistol, and the best weapon to make sure this works is by using the 9MM Baba Yaga Pistol.
If you’ve ever seen a John Wick movie or even a clip (no pun intended) from one of the films, you’ll know how dangerous John Wick is with any weapon, object, and even his words, to an extent.
To embrace the tone of the movies, this challenge is right at home. To find the weapon and how to throw the clip, read on for a full walkthrough.
How to Complete ‘Hit Opponents With Lancehead Clip After Reloading’ Quest in Fortnite

The best and most efficient way to do this quest is by obtaining the 9MM Baba Yaga Pistol, having at least one space spare in the clip, and then hitting reload, and make sure you’re looking at an opponent when you do so to throw the clip at the enemy in Fortnite.
Here are some easy steps for you to follow to do this yourself:
- Load into a game of Fortnite.
- Head to Sinister Strip or The Battlewoods.
- Once you get close to either one, you should start to hear some distant barking from John Wick’s dog.
- Eliminate the Security Guards watching over John’s dear doge.
- Press to Unlock the dog cage.
- Out will pop the Mythic 9MM Baba Yaga Pistol.
- Collect the weapon and equip it.
- Fire at least one shot from the weapon.
- Now, once you’re within two to five meters of an opponent, make sure you’re looking right at them, and press reload.
- If done correctly, your character will automatically throw the clip at the opponent.
I’ve read elsewhere that you need to completely empty the clip before reloading—this is not true.
If you’ve been having trouble with this, you might have either had the wrong gun, been standing too far away from the enemy, or not been looking directly at them whilst reloading.
Do this process two times, and the quest will be completed, giving you one of four contracts done!
