How to Find The Map in Big Walk—Big Views Achievement, Explained

Exploring the environment in Big Walk can be a big challenge, specifically as the game offers little in the way of direction and leaves you on a free path, but the map can be a big help.

Big Walk locks key items and unlockables behind progression, including the map, and there’s a very specific way to obtain this resource, which may take a while.

Big Walk Map Location

There are two maps to unlock in Big Walk, though both are accessible for the first time once you have completed the red tower objectives in the game.

After collecting all of the necessary puzzle rewards and placing them into the open slots at the top of the red tower, you will receive a key, which can then be cut to access the map.

Head to the bottom of the tower and interact with the first key cutter just outside, then follow the marker that appears on the top of the pillar to the next one, and repeat the process.

Eventually, once the key is fully cut, head inside the blue tunnel nearby and place the key in the slot. The door will then open, revealing both maps in Big Walk.

How to Use The Map in Big Walk

The two maps in Big Walk are used differently, as one is a large, static map taking up the entirety of the room, while the other is a foldable map you can take around with you.

The big map room is ideal for seeing which puzzles you are yet to complete, as puzzles that have been ticked off are marked with a flag. If the puzzle reward is standing up without a flag, it still needs to be done, while if it’s laid down, it means you’ve collected the reward but are yet to submit it.

Meanwhile, the smaller map that you can transport with you is ideal for nailing down specific locations using the coordinates, and you can zoom into different sections of the map by hitting the interact button.

The issue, however, is the limited carry space, so you may want to store the map in a safe place for when it’s needed specifically, like when completing certain puzzles.
